Journalist is fined for an antisemitism

The daily Russian Jewish Congress service of antisemitism monitoring reports that on November 23, 2020 the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow found journalist Andrei Tyunyaev guilty under Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for spreading false information.

The court fined him 400 thousand rubles for publishing on his Youtube channel a video saying that the coronavirus is “Feygelson-Jacobson disease”, which is dangerous only for Jews and Armenians.

Another video published by Tyunyaev mentioned the seizure of Jacobson from people under the guise of the coronavirus of internal organs and selling them for transplantation. Tyunyaev did not admit his guilt.
